Hello! Welcome to my website. I am Jenny Martin RSW, an artist working in painting and printmaking. I live in Edinburgh, in an area called Portobello, and work from my garden studio in my beachfront house.

I am an elected member, and Vice President, of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW). I practice as an artist almost full-time and as well as making my own work, I teach on a Foundation Course in Edinburgh at Leith School of Art.

I am inspired by people and the things they make, the traces they leave and the things they value. I love colour and pattern, and this features heavily in my work.

I want to create art which is both beautiful and intriguing, but also makes the viewer aware of a deeper significance below the surface.

I exhibit in a variety of galleries around the UK, take part in various public exhibitions and have my work in public and private collections throughout the world. I hope you enjoy looking at my work!
